The Mato Grosso state government created a commission to evaluate requests for external work by inmates at the Ferrugem penitentiary in Sinop. The measure is based on the Penal Execution Law, requiring inmates to meet criteria such as discipline, aptitude, and having served at least one-sixth of their sentence. The commission will include prison management, social workers, psychologists, and legal staff.
