A Jérusalem, un ramadan sous haute restriction

Since the outbreak of war with Iran, the Israeli government has banned Muslim worshippers from accessing the Al-Aqsa Mosque esplanade in Jerusalem during Ramadan, citing security concerns. Faithful Muslims are restricted to praying outside the walls of the Old City and denounce the measure as politically motivated. The restrictions are adding religious and symbolic tension to an already volatile regional conflict.
