NHS doctor’s body is recovered from Pakistan mountain
The body of NHS doctor Asma Mushtaq, who died while attempting to summit Spantik peak in Pakistan, has been recovered. She deteriorated at high altitude but chose to continue despite feeling unwell. Mushtaq was a keen mountaineer and pursued medical studies in Pakistan and the UK.
