High-speed train from Ain Sokhna to Marsa Matrouh to begin operating mid-September
Egypt is preparing to launch trial operations for its first high-speed electric train line connecting Ain Sokhna, al-Alamein, and Marsa Matrouh. The trial will start mid-September and last six months before official service opening in early October 2026.
