German state criminal investigators (LKA) discovered 50 kilograms of explosive chemicals in a Hamburg residential home during a search operation. A 40-year-old suspect had been repeatedly ordering the chemicals online, along with homemade fireworks. Investigations are ongoing into the potential threat posed by the materials.
