Morocco Signs Agreement to Combat Dam Siltation, Protect Water Resources

Morocco's Ministry of Equipment and Water and the National Agency for Water and Forests (ANEF) signed a partnership agreement in Rabat to combat dam siltation and protect water resources. The agreement was signed by Minister Nizar Baraka and ANEF Director General Abderrahim Houmy. Dam siltation is an increasing environmental challenge threatening Morocco's water supply.
