3,400 smuggled diamonds entered SJC network through illicit scheme: police

Vietnamese police have identified four suspects in connection to a transnational diamond smuggling ring involving over 30,000 stones, including more than 3,400 that entered Saigon Jewelry Company. The illicit scheme highlights challenges in precious metals security and law enforcement in Vietnam.
