Incêndio de grandes proporções atinge área de lavrado na zona Rural de Boa Vista

A large wildfire has been burning in the Nova Amazônia settlement in the rural zone of Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil, since Saturday, consuming over 1,000 hectares of savanna and agricultural land. Firefighting teams have been deployed continuously, with smoke reducing visibility along the BR-174 highway. No human or animal casualties have been reported so far, with damage confined to vegetation.
