AIIB to provide $320m loan for N-5 highway reconstruction project
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and Pakistan signed a $320 million loan agreement for reconstruction and improvement of critical sections of the N-5 highway, Pakistan's longest national highway. The project aims to strengthen regional connectivity, sustainable infrastructure, and economic growth across Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, utilizing modern green design standards.
