Contact Energy opens $151m Glenbrook grid battery to boost winter energy security
Contact Energy has opened a $151 million Glenbrook grid battery to enhance winter energy security in New Zealand. A second planned 200MW battery will increase capacity to power 132,000 homes during peak demand.
