Brazilian beach volleyball duo Duda and Ana Patrícia won silver at the Elite 16 stage of the World Beach Volleyball Circuit in João Pessoa, losing to American pair Cruz and Brasher 2-0 in the final. The United States also claimed third place, with Kraft and Cheng defeating Italy's Scampoli and Bianchi.
