ICO Launches Belgium’s First Commercial Shore Power Facility for RoRo Ships

International Car Operators N.V. (ICO), part of the NYK Group, has launched Belgium's first commercial shore power facility for roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) vessels at the port of Zeebrugge. The facility passed a successful test phase in early June, facilitating the use of shore power by pure car and truck carriers.
