India's aggressive import of vegetable oils has led to significant congestion at major ports like Kandla and Haldia, delaying vessel unloading by up to 10 days. The surplus inventory is causing refiners to reduce future purchases, impacting shipments mainly from Indonesia, Malaysia, Argentina, Brazil, Russia, and Ukraine.
