Lidl-backed carrier switches to German flag as Heilbronn becomes seaport for first time
Tailwind Shipping Lines, the container shipping subsidiary of Lidl, has registered its first vessel under the German flag. The 5,527 TEU containership Panda 001 will be homeported in Heilbronn, making this inland city a historic seaport for ocean-going vessels.
