Varamar takes plunge into ship ownership with four-vessel acquisition

Varamar, an Antwerp-based multipurpose operator, has acquired four multipurpose vessels, entering ship ownership for the first time. Founded in 2009 by Alexander Varvarenko, the company shifts strategically towards owning ships from chartering and operating third-party tonnage.
