Ports of Genoa container gateway traffic rises in first half of 2026
The Ports of Genoa and Savona-Vado handled 31.1 million tonnes of cargo in the first half of 2026, experiencing a slight 1.9% decline compared to the previous year. Despite this, container gateway traffic rose by 1.6%, supported by stronger volumes in container and conventional cargo segments.
