World's Tallest Dam Project Gets New Life With Fresh World Bank Funding
The World Bank approved a further $300 million grant for Tajikistan’s Rogun Dam, following a $350 million grant in December 2024. Italian builder WeBuild Group says it began work on a $2.3 billion part of the project, renewing momentum for the massive hydropower development.
