In a first, Hindu members included in Madhya Pradesh Wakf board after law amendment
The Madhya Pradesh government has amended the Wakf Board Act to include Hindu members in the state Wakf Board for the first time. The 10-member board now includes non-Muslims with Sanwar Patel appointed chairman under Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's administration.
