Reclamações contra a Sabesp quase triplicam nos últimos dois anos na Grande SP

Complaints against Sabesp, São Paulo's recently privatized water utility, nearly tripled in two years, rising from approximately 3,700 in 2023 to nearly 10,000 in 2024, according to state regulator Arsesp. The main issues reported are billing problems and water supply outages, including a case in which a condominium went over 80 hours without water. Sabesp was privatized in 2024 by Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, raising R$14.8 billion.
