MP do Equador acusa sete supostos idealizadores do assassinato de Villavicencio

The Ecuadorian Public Ministry formally accused seven alleged masterminds behind the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio, including two former leftist politicians, a businessman, and members of a criminal group. Villavicencio was murdered in Quito in 2023, shortly before the presidential elections. Authorities have requested preventive detention and Interpol red notices for suspects abroad.
