In the first round of Paris's 2026 municipal elections, left-wing candidate Emmanuel Grégoire leads with 35–38% of votes, significantly ahead of right-wing candidate Rachida Dati at 25%. Dati has proposed a union list to centrist Pierre-Yves Bournazel, who holds 12% and is considering staying in the race. Far-right candidate Sarah Knafo may also advance to the second round.
