Israeli strike kills 12 healthcare workers in southern Lebanon
An Israeli airstrike on a primary healthcare facility in Burj Qalaouiyah in southern Lebanon killed 12 medical workers, bringing the total of healthcare staff killed by Israel in Lebanon to 31 over 12 days. The Lebanese Ministry of Health condemned the strike as a violation of international humanitarian law. Doctors, paramedics, and nurses were among those killed as the building collapsed in flames.
