STJ retoma julgamento que pode reincluir ex-presidente da Vale entre réus por rompimento de barragem em Brumadinho

Brazil's Superior Court of Justice (STJ) is resuming the trial of a federal prosecution appeal that could reinstate Fábio Schvartsman, former Vale CEO, as a defendant in the 2019 Brumadinho dam collapse that killed 270 people. The prosecution argues that a lower court overstepped its authority in granting Schvartsman habeas corpus and removing him from the case.
