Justiça manda governo de MG criar plano de intervenção para Ceresp Gameleira; 4 presos morreram em menos de 1 mês no local

A Minas Gerais court ordered the state government to develop an intervention plan within 15 days for the Ceresp Gameleira detention center in Belo Horizonte, where at least four inmates have died in less than a month. A state prosecutor inspection found overcrowding, unsanitary conditions, insufficient staff, and lack of medicines and food. The court also mandated immediate improvements in cell maintenance, food, water, and medicine supply.
