H.Y. Meti’s daughter to fight Bagalkot bypolls as Independent candidate

The daughter of late Karnataka minister H.Y. Meti has announced she will contest the Bagalkot bypoll as an Independent candidate. All three of the former minister's children are reportedly vying for his vacant seat. The bypoll reflects intra-family political competition following Meti's death.
