New liquid biopsy technology can detect disease from a drop of blood

Researchers at Peking University have developed a liquid biopsy platform called 'cf-EpiTracing' capable of detecting and tracing diseases from as little as 50 μl of human plasma. The technology was published in Nature on March 4, 2026, and was led by professors from PKU's College of Future Technology and Department of Hematology.
