The World Food Programme urgently needs USD 13.3 million to sustain operations in Malawi through August 2026, covering 38% of its six-month funding requirements. In February 2026, WFP assisted 1.23 million people with food and nutrition assistance, distributing over 18,000 metric tons of food and USD 2.4 million in cash-based transfers.
