Canada and Nordics seek closer 'middle power' cooperation

Canada and five Nordic countries have agreed to deepen cooperation on military industrial production and other strategic areas, as Canadian PM Mark Carney seeks to build new global alliances. Carney is pursuing closer ties with China, the Middle East, India, and Europe to reduce Canada's dependence on the United States and promote a 'middle power' trading order.
