Polícia abre investigação após família dizer que garota sofreu estupro coletivo e engravidou no Norte de MG

Police in Minas Gerais have opened an investigation after the family of a 13-year-old girl reported she was gang-raped by three men at a community party in Coração de Jesus, resulting in a pregnancy. The alleged attackers were two 19-year-olds and one 15-year-old; under Brazilian law, any sexual act with a minor under 14 constitutes rape regardless of consent. A police report was filed on March 5 and investigators have begun formal proceedings.
