A financial company employee, Janete Serafim Ribondi, was arrested in Espírito Santo for defrauding elderly clients. She exploited elderly customers who had difficulty reading or using the internet, stealing approximately R$2,000 from a 64-year-old's bank account after accompanying him to withdraw money. Police identified multiple victims across different years, including a 2019 case with R$12,000 in losses.
