Curbs on Indian seafarers in conflict zones
India's Directorate General of Shipping has advised maritime agencies to restrict deployment of Indian seafarers to conflict zones following recent security incidents in the Gulf region, including an attack on the commercial vessel MT Settebello. The advisory highlights heightened risks due to hostilities in the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman.
