Osaka Gas to launch STS LNG bunkering service in April

Osaka Gas plans to launch ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operations in Japan next month using its newly constructed vessel, the Seto Azure, built at Shitanoe Shipbuilding in Oita Prefecture. The service will supply LNG fuel to LNG-capable vessels operating in Japanese waters, expanding the country's LNG bunkering infrastructure. The initiative reflects Japan's continued investment in cleaner marine fuel supply chains.
