Magnitude 5.1 earthquake in central Peru leaves at least five dead and ten injured

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck central Peru near Chupaca in Junín, resulting in five deaths and about ten injuries. The quake also caused significant damage to hospitals and religious monuments in the Andean region.
