MSMEDA directs EGP 18.7bn in financing to 934,000 women-led projects over 11 years

Egypt's MSMEDA has directed EGP 18.7 billion—45% of its total financing from July 2014 to December 2025—toward approximately 934,000 projects owned or managed by women. The financing spans agricultural, industrial, productive, service, and other sectors. CEO Bassel Rahmy highlighted the agency's commitment to women's economic empowerment over the 11-year period.
