In the second incident, a gang of robbers looted cash and gold worth Rs3 million from the house of Ali Akbar Naqvi in Naval Anchorage. Four armed men raided the house and held Naqvi’s parents hostage at gunpoint. They then ransacked the house and took eight tolas of gold, a dozen silver rings, two watches, Rs100,000 in cash and other items before escaping. In another incident, a man allegedly looted cash and gold worth Rs2.3 million from a house in Margalla Town. The suspect entered Ali Ashgar’s house by impersonating someone and allegedly threatened the family with dire consequences. Meanwhile, a gang of robbers allegedly snatched a motorcycle from a man in Abbasiabad. Two armed men intercepted Safi Ullah and held him at gunpoint before taking his motorcycle, mobile phone and Rs300,000 in cash. Likewise, burglars stole cash and gold worth over Rs4.4 million from the house of Mohammad Bilal in D-12. The incident took place when the residents had gone to Murree. On their return, they found the house ransacked. Similarly, burglars stole cash and gold from the house of Wasim Ikhlas in Alipur. Moreover, burglars stole cash and valuables worth over Rs4.5 million from the house of Nabil Shahzad in Sri Saral.
